Control White Ink on PrintEXP & FlexiPRINT Software for UV DTF Printer on Sticker Printing
In this video, we show you the difference between including and not including White Ink as your background on the UV DTF Printer.
The magic all happens in the Hosonsoft software. Upon opening the software, we add our image. Where there are areas that aren’t solid, we can add a background layer to fill the gap. We show how to do this in the settings. We activate the white in the settings.
Now that the print is in the print manager, we have two options to print. We can either send it directly via the computer or send it via the Hosonsoft software. We will be incorporating the print file into the Hosonsoft software. In the software we can manipulate colours, so this is a benefit. We do this in the software by changing the Polyplody ink amount to 2. Once this is done, we are ready to print.
We see that the white is applied first as the background layer, and then the colour is added on top of the white.
Next, we will show you how to do a transparent background. Firstly we add the image into our FlexiPRINT Software. Then in the driver options, we exclude the white. In the Hosonsoft software, the while will show as 1 but because we did not include it in the driver options,it won’t print white. We are now ready to print.
